I stayed in West Bay, part of Bridport. The East Beach walk was lovely most days. It's a very quiet area with nothing much apart from walking, fishing or eating , so very relaxing. The place itself is a little outdated, many closed restaurants (in a bank holiday weekend in august...) but we had a car there so we went elsewhere. We had time to visit Bridport, while we were there the market was on. It was wonderful walking around the stalls with all sorts of great goods to be had. Plenty of stands for eating too.
