We were there for a weekend.
We were there for a weekend. We walked part of the South Downs Way - it was extremely muddy along the path by the river with low cloud. We had a nice meal at the pub across the road from The Honeypot. We had a good trip to Arundel on the Sunday - the castle isn’t open at this time of year, but we were aware of that. Bury is a pleasant location in the beautiful area of the South Downs and is convenient for walking the South Downs Way. It is a peaceful rural area. There are many interesting places to visit nearby including Arundel, where you can visit the castle, and ancient church of St.Nicholas. It is also close to Amberley where you can spend time on the Rivver Arun or at the museum. Local small towns such as Storrington and Pulborough are charming. There are many good places to eat and we enjoyed meals at the Squire and Horse and also The Black Horse at Amberley.Guest review byDoreenUnited Kingdom
