We wanted somewhere for an easy one night stay that we didn't need to take everything, including the kitchen sink with us. This was great for the two of us and our little dog. Towels and bedding provided. The sofa turns into the bed and I have to say because it solid it was one of the comfiest we've slept on. Had a beautiful outlook and the goats were soooo cute as was the little pony. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautifully decorated and compact. I found myself often looking out the window at the spectacular view.The bed was comfortable.Great sized towels. A variety of drinks supplied.

This is a beautifully decorated and equipped cottage about 8 miles south of Carlisle. We found it spotlessly clean, with perfect facilities for a very happy and comfortable week's holiday. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need for self-catering, and it's spacious and bright.

Such a quirky little place in the centre of a village with stunning views. This exceeded my expectations and I think it's great value for money. Its been done to a great standard and the added touch of tea/coffee/cereal was nice. Also super peaceful, we slept so well.

Spent a birthday weekend there with friends and couldn’t have asked for anything more. The place was immaculate and much larger than we were expecting. The owners are lovely and incredibly helpful and clearly care about their guests enjoying their stay. 10/10 would return and stay if/ when back in the Lake District!

beautiful views, this property was set in a farm. clean and with a cosy feel although a great size. thoughtful treats on arrival. it was perfect that each bedroom had its own bathroom/shower room so ideal if staying with friends.

Location was very peaceful, 15 min drive from Penrith. Think this may have been one of the best positions on the site, enclosed wrap around garden. great for our dog. Garden furniture very useful. Accommodation had everything we could need including a hairdryer, towels, bedding, washing up liquid, kitchen roll, literally home from home. We made use of the board games provided which we haven't played for years. Squirrel visited garden every day. Loved it. Happy family memories made here. Owner was friendly too.

    The accommodation was beautiful and in the most peaceful...

    The accommodation was beautiful and in the most peaceful surroundings. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and could not do enough for us. There was information about the area and we enjoyed a fantastic meal in one of the recommended pubs. The beds were so comfortable and it was so warm and cosy. We had the best visit and will definitely return. The facilities were wonderful and there was a lot of attention to detail which made the stay so comfortable and enjoyable.
