I have been going to camber for years now , it’s one of my go to places to escape the madness of real life , as long as it’s not windy or raining the beach is amazing and safe for the kids , ( although a little rain doesn’t hurt 😊) the caravan park at parkdean resorts offers you everything you need in one place wether your with children or not , lots of things to do or just don’t do anything , up to you , I would always recommend Camber to anyone , it’s just lovely .

The beach is exceptional, in the summer dogs are allowed if you turn right. Not much in the way of bars and restaurants but we planned to eat in. Rye is 5 minute drive away and well worth a visit. Rye harbour is also lovely for a dog walk, great for bird watching and lovely cafe

The staff was pleased, location to the Beach was perfect.

The staff was pleased, location to the Beach was perfect. The resort old and tired looking. Food was mediocre. I wouldn't recommend if you want value for money. If it was cheaper then all day every day I'd recommend as you'd be getting what you paid for.

Not much at Camber but the beach is worth it alone.

Not much at Camber but the beach is worth it alone. Rye was lovely as was Dungeness, fish hut at Dungeness was fabulous. Paddy Hamilton gallery next to the light house was beautiful. The Plough just outside Rye was brilliant, food was first class. Waterworks micro brewery in Rye also well worth a visit. As was The Grapevine Bar and Jazz club

    Very easy to get around.

Very easy to get around. The area we stayed at had quite a lot of activities. I missed out on booking a session at the pool so can't offer any advise on that The bus stop to Rye is just outside the entrance of the park. Buses run every hour. Rye is easy to explore and beautiful. Fish me a dish is nearby and recommended. Easy to find and it's nice to walk and explore.
