The breakfast is great, the staff is unbelievably friendly and attentive, I was given great tips on transportation and what places to visit in Edinburgh. The rooms are always very clean and extremely comfortable.

I loved this hotel so much! It was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Our room was very large and very on theme. We were there at Xmas and the hotel was decorated beautifully. There was a lovely bar area as well as a delicious restaurant. I didn't want to leave! It was a magical stay. There is a bus stop at the end of the very long drive with very easy connections into the city. The walk to the road is quite long...especially in the dark though.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, offering easy access to major attractions and convenient transportation options. This hotel offers the best host i’ve ever met! So easy to deal with and helpful. No problems to store bags before check-in or after check-out, for free as well! Super convenient with the bus stop right outside (1 pound per trip!) so it doesn’t take many minutes to get to the city center. The room has everything for your basic needs and I recommend this to everyone who’s looking for a trouble-free stay in Edinburgh, with easy access to the city center but also with the calm presence of sleeping without being disturbed by loud city noises. Absolutely perfect!
