A hidden gem just 2 minute gentle stroll from a lovely village. Lovely welcome and a super friendly feel. Really thoughtfully renovated leaving the old world charm intact but with modern convenience. We were treated to the piper on the bridgas we headed out for dinnin the village. We had a gorgeous breakfast looking out over the lawn and the deer walking through the garden was the icing on the cake.

Such a wonderful hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly and both dinner and breakfast were outstanding. The check-in process was very simple but be aware that you will need to carry your bags upstairs. We parked around the back with no problems. Old fashioned and really homely rooms.

Best breakfast we've had in Scotland. Made fresh between 8-9 AM. Cosy house with wood-burning fireplaces - perfect for the cold days. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. If we ever have the chance to visit Aviemore again, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

The Highland getaway was amazing..very much 5 star.. had things we didn't think we needed! The attention to detail was above and beyond. Even dressing gowns and slippers. Beds were super comfy. Shower was powerfully and hot. And cooking facility was spot on. The kids loved the freedom of the park with forest walks across the road. And steam train within 5 mins walk.. no WiFi was not a problem for us. But there was no connection.

    Very disappointing stay.

    Very disappointing stay. Staff were rude and unhelpful - especially at breakfast. Dining staff Bella’s behaviour was shockingly unprofessional and not acceptable. Dirty, smelly rooms, one with a broken bed. Complaints were brushed off with a simple “sorry.” We booked 4 rooms for family visiting from Canada and deeply regret choosing this hotel. Definitely not worth the 4-star rating.

    Easily accessible, lots to see and do.

    Easily accessible, lots to see and do. Within a short drive to other locations such as Loch Morlich but also lots to see within walking or cycling distance too. Lots of historical sites and the most amazing scenery to enjoy.

    Carrbridge is an attractive quiet village with woodland walks around it. It has a shop, garage (cheap petrol) and a cafe. The Landmark attraction is great for children and the Highland Wildlife Park is not far - both great activities.

    It was very peaceful.

    It was very peaceful. The staff Gina was helpful when we arrived. It was a bit far from anywhere walking. The lodge was adequate and the kitchen was fully equipped. However the cooker was old and while clean wasn’t very nice. Some of the buttons were worn and difficult to use. The heating was adequate. The bed felt hard and too narrow. We didn’t eat out so can’t comment on eating places. However it wasn’t far from Aviemore. We visited the ski centre, Loch Garten and Loch Morlich.

    Carr bridge is a beautiful place, lots of things to do.

    Carr bridge is a beautiful place, lots of things to do. However my partner and I stayed at the MacDonald Lochanhully resort and it wasn’t the best. Good things to do are; Quad trekking Clay pigeon shooting at Rothiemurchus Zip lining

    Beautiful location, nice and cosy cabin with beautiful nature surrounding it. Esay access to the Town and local market. There is an activity area for the children but it is very expensive, horse riding and boat trips are also available in the area.

    The location is lovely, very handy (within walking distance) of Carrbridge, and not far from Aviemore. The cabin had everything we needed. The staff are very friendly and put themselves out to make you feel welcome. We enjoyed the Cairn Hotel for meals in Carrbridge, 'Landmark' for a day out, tennis on the site, and cycling at Loch an Eilean. Swimming at the sister resort was good, too. Nearby RSPB Insh Marshes is well worth visiting.

    Fabulously clean cottage, fully equipped with everything you could want and much more. The bathroom amenities and complimentary smellies are a lovely touch. The village itself is wonderful with a great selection of cafes, shop, a pub & larger hotel. The wooded area just across the road was a particular favourite of our Collie.
