Good Location, lovely hotel. We went for a short walk into the Village and visited a couple of the Lovely Old Pubs. Staff at the Hotel were great. Dined in at the Restaurant and had a lovely meal. Enjoyed a great breakfast as well the next day before we headed off. A Great stay had by all

While some have commented on the breakfast, it includes a hearty full English option. The property was absolutely amazing. It was done tastefully and maintained very well. It was spotlessly clean all throughout the property. There were some games and books which the kids enjoyed. Wish we had brought some books as they had a book exchange policy and my mother started on a book but had to leave it behind because we didn't have anything to exchange 😄 There is a small garden with a bench where you can enjoy a cup of tea or have a meal if you wish, as the garden is also very well maintained. The beds and pillows were very comfy. I would go back just for that 😁. They had also left some Welsh cakes and we thought it was a very nice touch. We visited, Colwyn bay beach, Zip world at Betws-y-Coed and the Pontcysyllte aqueduct from there easily. They also had some other lovely suggestions for visiting in their guidebook. Maybe next time we stay there we can do those, cos we will definitely be booking with them again 🙂

Stayed here last night. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere quiet to stay. Really nice and clean inside and out. Had everything you could need. I would recommend this place and would book again.

Everything about it made the experience amazing. From the moment we arrived the staff were so helpful and friendly. The cabin was clean to a high standard. The location was beautiful and the hot tub was the star attraction.

    Carrog is a beautiful place and a great place for a walking holiday, and for taking dogs, as long as they are on a lead (because of the sheep) We visited the Horseshoe Falls and Aqueduct, and really enjoyed the walks in the local area.There is a really quaint working railway - we did not go on a train journey but want to come back to see it again. The Grouse Inn offers a great menu and traditional pub lunches. People were very friendly and amenable. We didnt explore as much as we would have liked but it was a really relaxing break away from it all
