Chillingham Manor is a beautiful house in gorgeous grounds.
Chillingham Manor is a beautiful house in gorgeous grounds. We were staying for a wedding and the location was really handy plus the owner helped us with finding taxis which made life easier. An idyllic location in itself, picturesque and tranquil, and very close to internationally famous sites, such as Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, Hadrian's Wall and the Kielder Forest Dark Skies. Nearby, there are myriad ancient churches and friendly pubs, with the latter often serving locally sourced meals for reasonable prices (and the former providing spiritual nourishment for free).
