Accommodated 5 of us. Evening meal was excellent. Staff were polite and friendly. Family room was spacious & clean. Bathroom fittings were new & expertly fitted. Beds were very comfortable resulting in a good night's sleep for us all. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Entrance & exit easy when pub was shut. Adequate parking.

Staff were wonderful and bent over backwards to help. Room, while on the smaller side was lovely. It’s an old building so that’s to be expected, but the room was bright, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was modern. The food in the pub was good and the breakfast more than adequate. Will happily stay here again!

This is a beautiful historic hotel with rooms overlooking splendid gardens. We received a complimentary room upgrade which was excellent. I loved the water dispensers and the biscuits. The breakfast was magnificent with something for every taste. We have had an evening meal in the past which was also superb and served in a Victorian conservertory. We have stayed here before and will do again. Excellent in every respect.
