Superb staff, welcoming atmosphere , rooms very comfortable and the cost is excellent . Just an excellent hotel to stay in, I was made incredibly welcome, check in to support with anything.. what makes this special is the way the staff go out of their way. Huge kudos to Caroline she is a rare gem. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing in the restaurant, servers, chef, quality 5 stars!. The live music atmosphere again wow 5 stars!! Definitely be back

The staff were helpful and friendly. The 2 restaurants were really good. Close to public transport. Room nice size and ensuite was good size. Lift. Staff went beyond normal for us by taking photos of our wedding day.

Staff are lovely, even the cleaners in the morning are super kind. Breakfast also was great with staff being so kind, I would go back again , I got away for few days to clear my head and spend time with my daughter and I feel it was a great experience

The property is beautiful, a very warm welcome from the staff. Really enjoyed relaxing and taking in all the beautiful views out the windows throughout the hotel. Loved the peacocks and all the trees at this time of the year as they are changing colours. The food was also amazing! Had a brilliant break.

The chalet was spotless with everything you need. Mark & Jenn welcomed us and we're the perfect hosts. The location was beautiful and peaceful. Our granddaughter loved playing with Harper and had so much fun with her. We had a fabulous stay and hope to return soon. Would highly recommend.

    The area is quite rural and has a quiet pensive feel to it...

    The area is quite rural and has a quiet pensive feel to it but is close to a city and several towns and villages so you get the best of both worlds. There is a fantastic fairy park for kids close by at Slieve Gullion. Just over the border at Strandfields (opposite Ballymascanlon hotel entrance) is a fantastic vegetarian cafe and garden centre - the food is amazing.
