This property is stunning and the pictures don’t do it justice! So much space and such good value for money. Very clean and very comfortable. Amazingly friendly hosts too. We had the most amazing stay here and would love to come back.

Sally was wonderful, very accommodating and very welcoming. She was very kind and helped me fix my booking mistake, and stayed back for a later check-in as we hit bad traffic on the multi hour drive to the hotel. Beautiful tea room area, the breakfast was always great and the other staff were always helpful and courteous. The room was clean and well made up, the shower was great, good pressure, the heat range was good and stable. Great light blocking curtains. Open-shelving clothing rack made the room feel bigger and I didn't have to worry if I left something as I could always see what I hung or stowed away. Super close to the aqueduct and canal nearby.

everything from start to finish it was perfect! it was so clean!! we had everything we needed! the bed was comfortable, they even provided throws so you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery as well. there is heating included, there is hot water (which was the perfect temperature and pressure)! even the towels smelt so fresh! Can not fault it at all!!! we even got little chocolate bars, milk, tea and coffee and for a small cost was an ice cold Prosecco in the fridge.

The cowshed is in a stunning location up on the hill just outside of Llangollen. The road up the street is a little rocky so if like us you had a hire car you may want to go very slow. The room itself surpassed expectations it was beautiful! The bed was comfy, there were lovely chairs to lounge in and read and the terrace had a little table and chairs if you wanted to sit outside or have breakfast out there. The owner, was so friendly offering recommendations for food and they brought breakfast (croissants, toast, fruit, yoghurt and orange juice) which was an unexpected bonus. For me the highlight was the bath, it is a delight and a nice way to relax at the end of the day. If I were back in the area I would stay here again without hesitation.

Hollies Farm B&B was a lovely place to stay. We had a beautiful room (Countess) which was well furnished with everything needed for a comfortable stay - including a kitchen area with fridge and coffee maker. It was spotlessly clean and very quiet. Breakfast was delicious, cooked by Paul in his outdoor kitchen. Paul and Nicola were very welcoming and friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. There are some very good pubs and restaurants in the area for evening meals. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.

    Loved the easy walk to the beauty spot down the road, with...

    Loved the easy walk to the beauty spot down the road, with car park. River and ford. Walk up the lane to the pub was talked by a few of us! Great drive over The Horse Shoe Pass to Llangollen. Look out for Crocis Abbey and the waterfall/weir and the highest aqueduct ever on the way back if you do a circular trip. Food was plentiful, good service and pub style, which was fine for our needs on this few days.
