Great breakfast, we counted 14 different fruits in the fresh fruit salad. Delightful hosts, we had so much fun. And they gave very good advice on walks and other things to do (Exmoor Forest Safari!). And the area is stunning. Don't only use this as a stop over on your way to Land's End, it's well worth a week's holiday.

The most welcoming arrival we have experienced in any properties we have stayed in. The place is spotlessly clean and we were welcomed by the friendliest host Richard. We were spoiled at breakfast by both Richard and Robert, the best meal we had everyday. The view was breathtaking and we’re already looking forward to coming back to the property.

Loved our stay! Staff were incredibly friendly and happy to give advice on activities to do in the local area as well as ensuring all guests where booked in for dinner reservations in town (some places are closed on a Sunday). Room was comfortable with a modern and newly fitted bathroom. Breakfast was very good value and enjoyable

Literally everything was picture perfect... the lovely hosts Ness & Phil, the very nice furnitured room, the picturesque view and the superb breakfast. Thank you very much for a very pleasant stay. As soon as we stepped through the door, the warm hospitality at North Cliff Hotel was evident. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their warm hospitality and local knowledge added a truly personal touch to our visit. The hotel itself is charming and full of character, with breathtaking views over the cliffs and sea. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully presented. Breakfast was delicious, with a great selection and attentive service that made our morning a pleasure. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the genuine care and friendliness of the hosts. They clearly love what they do, and it shines through in every aspect of the experience. We can't wait to return—thank you for such a wonderful stay!

    A great part of the country with some excellent hill walking...

    A great part of the country with some excellent hill walking and great country pubs. We highly recommend The Blue Ball Inn and the Stag Hunters Inn. The walk from Countisbury Hill car park down to Lynmouth should only be undertaken by experienced walkers as it is quite strenuous and treacherous at some points. The views in the area are stunning.
