The breakfast was very good. You could order different dishes. It was very nicely arranged. The staff were always competent and helpful and also very friendly. The pub is excellent. Great ambience. Everything is very, very nice. A successful stay and a great experience. We had booked 6 rooms for a wedding. We would love to come back again.

Lovely location. Someone phoned me the day before to make sure I arrived to get my key and give me any other helpful details. Staff very friendly, lovely quiet location, access to a fridge, and small sitting room, ordered a take away breakfast and how coffee in the morning as I needed to get on the road. I would recommend this stay and will return if in the area.

    A busy local town, lovely local shops and produce, an amazing viaduct and well worth a visit whatever your tastes... I guess we would be very pleased to visit again, I'm sure we will find more to interest us, the Norman church maybe and we aren't religious at all :-)

    Denby Dale is well sorted with shops, pubs and cafes.

    Denby Dale is well sorted with shops, pubs and cafes. Its location is ideal for travel to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Mining Museum and the cities of Sheffield, Wakefield and Huddersfield. We had a fine lunch at the Holmfirth Vineyard and dinner at The Dunkirk pub - expensive but good quality.
