We travelled from Wales for our little dog to have cataract operation and booked into the Smithy for a one night stay. We couldn't have picked a better place with wildlife, river and village atmosphere. Perfect place to chill. The owner was in contact prior so that our needs were met and even gave us the option of checking in earlier. Met the owner on one of our walks to the river otherwise we were left alone but could have contact at anytime.. Very clean and little extras thought of I.e. torch in bedside cupboard. If we ever go to Leominster again, I know where my husband and I would want to stay.

    There are no shops but it's a lovely place and has...

    There are no shops but it's a lovely place and has queenswood county park on the doorstep that you can walk to. There is a farm shop that sells llamas and goats etc and they are all out in a field which is quite lovely. As it's just off the A49 it's easy to get to Hereford, Leominster and Ludlow.
