Wasn't sure what to expect but have to say Dorchester wasn't very inspiring as towns go. Two railway stations, both a fair walk from the main town streets. There's a museum and gallery but it was £15 to get in so I didn't bother. We loved it all, friendly staff 😀 Everything so clean and Everything supplied that you wanted or needed above and beyond. Beds really comfortable a good night's sleep as so quiet. A great inn to stay,eat,drink. Lovely little stream running with a cute bridge. Lovely village, plenty of parking at venue. Dorchester is a quaint town that is always a pleasure to visit. It has a brilliant market and there are plenty of shops to visit. It it well served with different museums and the Tutankhamun and Terracotta Army ones are a definite visit for me. Carl and Jocelyn, the proprietors, were very hospitable and looked after us so well. The rooms were excellent. Our room had a separate sitting area, which was much appreciated.
