The Shoregate is a wonderful independent hotel in Crail. It is run by a team that is committed to very high standards and has everything that is needed to provide guests with a relaxing stay. The team assisted me with tips ahead of my trip, and I also reserved dinner at the restaurant which was delicious.

The complete package is very round, excellent room, wonderful dinner in a Michelin Star Restaurant which really earns this star, very nice and supportive staff. Nicolas and Murray were fantastic and made our dinner very special. Since years finally a Michelin Star restaurant were we both would love to come back.

    The apartment is fine apart from the showering facilities...

    The apartment is fine apart from the showering facilities and the soft bed. If these don't matter then by all means book. For me as a sports person, I need a good shower or bath and a firm supporting bed, so these are essential for my comfort and health. Fabulous golf in the area.
