Very convenient for visiting the North Yorkshire Moors. 2 really lovely pubs within 5 minutes walk of the property. Both were very friendly and served excellent food. If visiting Whitby, the park and ride is only down the road and well worth using. Beautiful Staithes is only a short drive away and well worth a visit. Goathland, we found to be a Heartbeat themed village and, as such, a bit crowded and pricey. Eg a Bothams of Whitby cake costing £3.25 in ther shop in Whitby, was priced at £5 in the Adensfield Stores!Guest review byBrendaUnited Kingdom

Tip: if you're planning on a visit to Whitby, use the park and ride... works out a lot cheaper than finding a car park in the town.
