Beautiful secluded location, felt like we were alone in the fields. The place is really quirky, cosy and had everything we needed. Trevor, the owner, was a delight and shared lots of recommendations and information with us. We will definitely return.

The inn had lots of charactor and amazing views. Beer and food was excellent. The room I stayed in was lovely and had a super comfortable bed. The bar had a great atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming. I would deffinetaly stay again when I'm in the area.

The breakfasts were the best breakfasts of our trip with tea that set a new standard for my tea making at home and a variety of tasty dishes to choose from, some of which included some homegrown produce. The rooms and bathrooms have everything one needs and more. We found it a convenient base to explore central and some of North Wales from: Aberystwyth, Devil's Bridge, and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The Kerry Ridge walk and the Textile Museum, both local attractions recommended by Tim, were some of our Wales highlights. For evening meals, we enjoyed our meal at Radnorshire Arms on one of the evenings but couldn't find anything in Newtown that we were wild about. Afterwards, we thought we should have done a picnic-style meal in the garden instead of the Newtown places we tried. (The Dolford Inn was unfortunately not serving meals when we were there.) Overall, we loved it and were sorry to have to leave.

Perfect little slice of nature tucked away in the countryside. The caravan had everything you need and was a good size for two people. It was clean and there was a surprising amount of storage space. Owners were absolutely lovely and we got to meet some very friendly horses who were staying there too.

Extremely nice apartment and location and Gail and Nick were excellent hosts. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure! Nick even helped us fix a flat tyre!

    We loved the location: it was a perfect rural getaway.

    We loved the location: it was a perfect rural getaway. Stars at night are incredible. The house is huge - we were three couple each with a toddler aged child and the house felt spacey. The hot tub is a bonus! We would definitely come back. We read in other reviews about the flies and yes there a few (expected on a farm tbh. Only recommendation would perhaps be a fly screen on hot days as having the doors closed does mean it gets a little hot).
