The location was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to stay in a rural location with proximity to Stansted airport and Colchester. The accommodation was perfect for a couple. The studio apartment is bright and very comfortable. The owners have put a lot of effort into providing a well equipped self catering studio apartment which is tastefully decorated. The hosts ensured we had a lot of useful information before arrival and were on hand if we needed anything during our brief stay.

The place is very close to the airport, clean, comfortable and very cute (old cottage) Staff is friendly and available, Steve made me a pizza at 11pm :) and was very responsive! The night was quiet, I slept very well!!

The annexe is a very well thought out and comfortable place to stay. Diane was very friendly and helpful with good comms and a lovely breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

    Avoid Felsted!

    Avoid Felsted! The town has no amenities at all - the pub didn't even do food! Cedar Cottage is a nice spot to stay, but you'll need to enjoy frozen food heated up - OR have a car to drive to a nearby town!
