    An interesting town across the bay from the property with reasonably priced car parking and within fairly easy walking distance. An interesting cinema/theatre and a good range of shops and eating places. An interesting history of events. St. David’s and Tenby were interesting places within an hour’s drive.

    We liked the path along the coast, we just had a bit of a problem figuring out a hike for the kids, i.e. 6-10 km. We used a bus from Dinas Cross once to get back from the trip (beware, it doesn't run on Sundays). Apparently seals are sometimes seen on the cliffs behind Harbour Village...

    Great litt;e town, with friendly locals and good choice of pubs, shops, eateries and things to do. Close to several local attractions and staying in town it is a short walk to anywhere! Picturesque coast and lovely countryside.

    Fishguard has world-beating coastal walks and views; ideal for droning. It is a quiet, small town, brimming with cultural assets, e.g. the Last Invasion Tapestry, Folk at the Oak every Tuesday, Goodwick Harbour, Lower Town (used for at least two films), Theatr Gwawn and varied eating options. Everything is within walking distance. It's also close to interesting places to visit, such as St David's, with its cathedral.

    It's a great base location for exploring the area.

    It's a great base location for exploring the area. There's plenty of nice coastal walks that are only a short drive away. The town itself is quite small but still has plenty to offer. There's history with the fort and last invasion gallery, the lower town is very cute and you're spoiled for choice with food and drink - lots of very good quality cafes, restaurants and pubs.

    In Fishguard to take ferry to Ireland so didn't see much of it. Looks a nice coastal town but obviously the ferry port overwhelms the town. If using the ferry services directions are clear and plenty of space to park and wait if arrive early. Stayed overnight in The Ferryboat which was lovely and highly recommended.

    Minimalist aesthetic familiar to digital nomads, but distinctive in its details (that painted wooden floor!) and comforts. There was even a wee Christmas tree softening up the place, and I appreciated it, even as someone largely indifferent to the holiday. Furniture was comfortable and the TV was quite large. Dog-friendly with loads of little wooded trails nearby rewarding exploration of the fine town of Fishguard. And really thoughtful amenities awaiting you in the kitchen when you arrive. I’ll definitely come back. Thanks, George!

    The breakfast was included, and provided on a ‘help yourself basis’. The kitchen provided something for most people, coffee and tea, cereal, fruit, eggs, milk, bread, plus bacon etc. if you wanted to cook yourself a Welsh breakfast. The shared dining area and lounge were very comfortable and homely. My room, with ensuite, had been fairly recently refurbished and was comfortable, with everything you’d expect in a hotel room

    We arrived late from the ferry and there was someone to let us in and show us to our room - it’s a small hotel so this was really great. Our room was cheerful, clean and nicely decorated. The bed and pillows were really comfortable! The shower room too was nicely kitted out and there was plenty of hot water. We have breakfast and that was served in the restaurant - the staff were very friendly and all was very tasty!

    The property was ideal for our overnight stay in Fishguard. It was comfortable, clean, spacious and well-equipped, there was good on-street parking and it was a short walk to find a pleasant pub for our evening meal. If we had been staying longer, it would have an excellent base to explore the area.
