An interesting village with lots more to explore than we had time for on this trip. Two pubs within a short distance of one another. Nice country walks. We walked to the next village, along the road on the way and by the river on the way back.

Typical country village which has, unfortunately, lost local shops (apart from a pie shop!!). Area is very quiet with close access to the river Avon and direct access to main roads for many local beauty spots.

In a lovely area close to a lot of interesting places to visit. We found it very pleasant and people very helpful. There is just one shop there. It is a bakery and makes the most delicious pork pies. Have been making a variety of pies for many years. It was unfortunate that our visit to Fladbury was to a friends funeral. So we are hoping the next time we return to Fladbury it will be in better circumstances and can stay at The Chequers Inn with more time to discover more about the region.
