We were delighted with every aspect of the accommodation - our hosts were extremely kind and helpful as well as generous (cake and wine awaiting us on our arrival); the accommodation was spacious and comfortable; all the facilities were perfect; the location was just right for us - we already know this area of the Lakes but any newcomers will be pleased with the nearness of so many interesting spots to visit.

This hotel is a gem, beautifully appointed in a perfect setting. Short walk to the pretty village of Cartmel. Great choice for breakfast, all very tasty. Lovely terrace to enjoy a drink & take in the view. We were made to feel so very welcome & our stay felt really special. Lauren and Greg have done an amazing job.

The spa and pool area was very relaxing and enjoyable. Service at the breakfast was exceptional and very delcious food. The location was beautiful and no complaints from us. Lounge areas were beautiful overlooking the lake.

In a lovely rural setting. We were able to visit, even walk to Cartmel and Grange easily. The food we ordered was delicious and good value. I had stayed at Uplands before and would like to stay there again.

The greyhound inn was an amazing place to stay! We loved every second of our stay and was honestly sad our stay ended. The room was absolutely immaculate and the beds were so comfortable. We had everything we needed provided such as clean bedding with blankets, toiletries with fresh towels, tea coffee and sugar with a kettle, WIFI and TV. The staff was absolutely amazing and such lovely down to earth people and i honestly can’t thank them enough for the attention to detail and done everything and more to make our stay an absolute pleasure. The greyhound is a beautiful pub in the heart of the countryside within the Lake District. The prices were more than reasonable and there it was so lovely to have a meal and drinks of an evening and had a real sense of comfort. We would 100% be booking to come back and stay again. I would lastly like to say a special thank you to Lisa for making our stay so perfect. Our time at the greyhound was so perfect and we can not wait to come back again. Thank you all so much.
