Hardraw is lovely the the waterfall is a really nice little walk. Hawes is an easy stroll. We liked "The Fountain" in Hawes for food and the Nation Park Centre in Hawes is great for finding out what's in the area.Guest review byYvonneUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The location was lovely with the falls being so close.
The location was lovely with the falls being so close. The hotel, to be fair, was lovely. The rooms were spacious but had the odd problem. One hadn't been hoovered, and needed it and another had no power to the fridge or kettle area, so they didn't work. The bar was busy and very friendly and atmospheric. It had very much been preserved as a pub in contrast to the luxury accommodation. I think the underlying cause of our problems was lack of staff. I honestly couldn’t fault The Green Dragon, we didn’t want to leave, so much history with regards to it being used for All Creatures great & Small and Robin Hood.
