Beautiful cottage in secluded location, very clean and comfortable. Host was exceptionally helpful . Wish we had longer. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing stay.

What can I say? It was such a great stay. It was the night before my wedding and we had quite a lot of people stay, they were so accommodating and changed rooms around to suit numbers and guests. They even made breakfast super early for me and my bridesmaids so we could get ready in time. Thank you all so so much and we plan on returning for our anniversary!

Room was spotless, well appointed and warm. Shower was great. Bed was comfortable, slept like a log. It’s a room above a popular pub so expect some noise although after closing time it’s sooooooo quiet. Lovely.

Annexe was perfect - the best equipped accommodation we have...

Annexe was perfect - the best equipped accommodation we have ever stayed in. My only suggestion would be a sign at the gate saying ‘to the annexe’ as we drove past it and had to ask if we were in the right place.

Hockwold cum Wilton is very far south and close to the...

Hockwold cum Wilton is very far south and close to the Norfolk/Suffolk border and not very close to the sea. There were no facilities nearby. This was a lastminute booking and I was please I was able to find somewhere. However we would have preferred somewhere more central in the county or nearer to the beach. That aside, the area was quite and rural. Open fields and bird song all day.
