The rooms were spacious, clean and welcoming. The box of chocolates on the bed was a lovely touch too! Fiona and her husband were friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to make us welcome and comfortable. We will definitely be visiting again in the future!

amazing location! we had a perfect night and it was wonderful to relax in the hot tub and look at all the stars! everything you could ever need was provided, the host was so wonderful! answering any question I had before and during and checked in making sure that we were ok in the property! the bed was extremely comfy and the fire inside the pod warmed it up so well on the cold evenings we will be back again as soon as we are able to!

A great location, the house is wonderful and was perfect for our needs. We had a dog with us and they had provided throws on the sofa and even a dog lead, towel and umbrella left by the back door. Small touches but really nice. The open plan living is spacious yet cosy and the upstairs space is vast with 2 large double bedrooms. We visited the local pub (very convenient right next door, and good food) and found some wonderful country parks in the local area. A wonderful house for a chilled long weekend which was just what we ordered.

    This was an `old school B&B' with warm, friendly hospitality...

    This was an `old school B&B' with warm, friendly hospitality from hosts Paula and Peter. So nice to have a lovely traditional cooked breakfast with advice and `banter'. It was a pity that we were so rushed driving between destinations and we could have had another day or so to investigate the areas nearby. The bedroom was upstairs and our sleep was very comfortable and restful. Thank you!

    Would have liked an extra night to see all the open gardens in the village. Will plan better next time. A beautiful village with eating opportunities nearby. Ideal if like us, visiting family in the area.
