Spacious rooms, excellent public rooms. Lunch in the bar was excellent as was the included breakfast. All the staff we interacted with were chereful and helpful. Our 4th visit when in the area so despite the negatives we love this hotel.

Our pod was so cute, warm & welcoming for our w.e break! It had everything we needed & the beds & bedding were so snug! We also had our own immaculate bathroom a short stroll away. The site and utilities are very well organised. Tim, the owner was very friendly and hospitable. Lynda, the campsite manager was equally lovely. It was a very central location, with a parking space which is a major advantage for Lewes. The apartment was clean and very well appointed with quirky and effective decor. The complimentary food items were fresh and good quality and very welcome. It's light and airy, the bathtub was a lovely touch.

The breakfast was wonderful, plentiful, and lots of choice in a lovely sunroom. The hotel is set in a grand, picturesque location surrounded by fields within which is a lake, Beds are very comfortable with French doors opening onto a patio, looking across the fields. An 14th century church is in walking distance, and pleasant walks in the nearby wooded areas. Lovely part of the world, real England.
