I had a really lovely stay at Magpies. Everyone was so kind and welcoming - I felt really at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautiful - with a great bath, much needed after a day’s cycling! I ate in the restaurant - and the food was excellent, really excellent. What a great place, and what lovely people!

First visit. It seems to have been used as an RAF-related facility, and there were many materials from WW2. It was an old building that was kept in good condition and had a nice atmosphere that I really enjoyed. The surrounding environment was quiet and the view was good. I would like to use it again if I have a chance.

Peaceful location, close walk to town. I highly recommend Laurel Lodge for parkrunners as it's a pleasant warm-up walk to Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School. Breakfasts are delicious. Brenda is an amazing host, thank you for making my stay so memorable!

    We were welcomed by the owners and told everything we needed...

    We were welcomed by the owners and told everything we needed to know. The plot was private with a river view and very easy to get to as well as being in a location that gave easy access to all locations including the coast and Skegness. We will definitely book again as we came away from here refreshed and ready to go.
