Location was wasy to find via bus. Climbed a couple steps and a 4 mins walk to the hotel. Staff were very accommodating to extending my checkout for another hour which was perfect and also option to pay for breakfast, good price for a filling meal and coffee

The breakfast was very good. You could order different dishes. It was very nicely arranged. The staff were always competent and helpful and also very friendly. The pub is excellent. Great ambience. Everything is very, very nice. A successful stay and a great experience. We had booked 6 rooms for a wedding. We would love to come back again.

The Briar Hotel was fantastic. Really close to the John Smith Stadium which was great as I travelled with my son for a concert. Breakfast was also great. Staff were fantastic. Very polite.

Lovely location. Someone phoned me the day before to make sure I arrived to get my key and give me any other helpful details. Staff very friendly, lovely quiet location, access to a fridge, and small sitting room, ordered a take away breakfast and how coffee in the morning as I needed to get on the road. I would recommend this stay and will return if in the area.

    I stayed there because I was visiting friends and family who...

    I stayed there because I was visiting friends and family who live very close by. I was able to walk. Also a good M&S food hall and a Morrison's within 10 minutes walk. Easy bus into town. I would stay there again if they resolved the issues I complained about. The place needs a new sofa!
