The Monturpie guest house was the highlight of our stay but...
The Monturpie guest house was the highlight of our stay but the whole area east of Largo is stunning. Little working fishing villages along the coast are beautiful. St Andrews is most interesting with lots to see and do. Particularly enjoyed the castle. A day in Faulkland is worthwhile, also a visit to Scotland’s secret bunker. Small quiet village but as I have a car it was a great base...
Small quiet village but as I have a car it was a great base for visiting Dundee about 20mins drive & St.Andrews was about 12mins drive away. Lower Largo is 5mins away with a lovely beach & there you will also find the Robinson Crusoe statue & a lovely cafe beside the beach which does lovely scones. We also visited Anstruther & had a delicious fish supper at The Wee Chippy which had won an award for its fish & chips every year since 2020.Guest review byElaineUnited Kingdom - 10.0
