Laide is a small village and Oceanview is the place to go to for drinks and a meal. Laide Wood which isn’t far away is absolutely brilliant and well worth a visit. All the local beaches are spectacular - even went for a swim at Slaggan Bay. The room and hotel was spotlessly clean.
The room and hotel was spotlessly clean. In a beautiful position and a warm welcome. We were able to have a meal in the bar/restaurant there although delivery of goods being delayed meant we couldn’t have what we ordered. Laide is beautifully positioned on the loch shore with wonderful dramatic views all around. Lots of walks and beaches. A little disappointing that everything closes on Sunday but the trip to Gareloch was worthwhile.Guest review byBill
