Peaceful place to stay close to lots of beautiful places to visit including the Bosherton Lakes and Broad Haven South Beach. Terrible. The receptionist was so rude. I didn't bother checking -in. I just left. The reception area was dreadful! Not in keeping with the photos shown of spa, which is in a stand alone new building, quite far from the hotel and rooms. Totally devoid of hospitality. Ideal base for those looking to explore Pembroke itself (literally down the road but far enough from the bustle of Pembroke's narrow streets) and the glorious coastal walks and beaches. The location is ideal for local beaches and historic sites, and a quick drive from Tenby. We took dogs with us and they enjoyed some wonderful walks. The rooms are a really good size and the beds very comfortable, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the bar and the lounge were very relaxing and well staffed. The coach house annex is quiet, well equipped and spacious family accommodation that takes dogs. Food is very good quality and plenty of varied choice - coped easily with one of our group being coeliac. Staff very friendly and helpful despite being busy with a full hotel.
