Living in Scotland it is easy to forget what is on your doorstep and a few days in the North West is a reminder of this! Stunning scenery, views, drives, walks, waterfalls, the sea, the food, are all incredible. A memorable few days made perfect by the location and quality of Leckmelm. The freedom of self-catering with pubs, Hotels and restaurants nearby for the occasional meal out with the comfort of being able to cook and cater for yourself in a spacious chalet with a great kitchen and comfortable living area. We stayed here because of the proximity to many great hikes in the area, which are many. It was wonderfully located. Ullapool is close by for services, food, drink, and the ferry. We saw deer grazing in the morning outside our window and birds were plentiful near the feeder. Such a calm and relaxing spot!Guest review bySusan - 10.0

It is convenient for Ullapool and a great base for walking whether serious mountain challenges or coastal walks.
