Came back to London for a week with husband and this was our second time staying at Montcalm Piccadilly Townhouse. We stay here back in 2023. Great location and walking distance to a lot of the local attraction's, public transportation, and theatres.

This was our second time in London in 2 years, both taking place at Halloween to attend the theatre. Both times the weather was not great, either raining or too cold. I love the city and if I return it will be over the summer. I recommend one of the hop on hop off bus tours as a great way to see the city and the Tube is great too.

London is a busy and exciting place and time needs to be taken to travel between venues if you are sight-seeing. Plan venues and locations including opening times. Many venues prove to be more interesting than you originally thought so you want to spend more time there than originally planned. Don't try and do too many things in one day, you will be exhausted.

London is vast, it's impossible to review "London".

London is vast, it's impossible to review "London". Harrods is awful - smelly, crowded, overpriced. Oxford Street is meh, unless you like high street brands. South Kensington is excellent - the museums really are amazing. Hyde Park is beautiful. The architecture in some parts is fantastic, I love walking down old mews and cobbled streets. I don't think London can be surpassed for public transport.

I love London having lived here for three years, it’s great to be back. To avoid spending too much on food and drink, take a packed lunch and drinks, it’s very expensive eating out. Use self catering accommodation to avoid these extra costs.

Ancient capital with masses of history.

Ancient capital with masses of history. Huge variety of food and culture. Excellent transport system . BUT very, very expensive. Maybe not the friendliest place on earth . Too many arrogant people. Not as many pickpockets as Rome or Prague.

Nice hotel. Reception staff pleasant & happy to help. Good variety at breakfast, & Chelsea & Maria, did a great job keeping everything "topped up" with a smile & keeping the tables cleared & wiped. Odd job man was very friendly, & left a note for housekeeping as our room was spotless. Loved the toiletries in the shower & basin, smelt beautiful & bath sheets. Close to station into London, & Co-OP shops near the apartments if need anything.

Excellent location and adequate for a short stay on a budget in London. Cheaper than other 2* hotels in the area and one of the better ones. At the price, I had expected a small room and not the most comfortable bed so no complaints
