Ideal for a short stay in summer.

Ideal for a short stay in summer. A quiet location surrounded by farmland. Accommodation is on first floor with garage underneath. Entry by wooden staircase which is quite steep. No entrance hall so might feel cramped when coats, wellies and umbrellas are needed. Nice to have tea, coffee and milk provided. Washing up liquid, dishcloth and (used) scourer hidden in a cupboard. Fire exit ladder was provided but we couldn’t see where to go once through the window. Good quality bed and bedding. Generous large bath towels. Generally lovely though.

This is a great place for a short or longer stay..really clean, warm, comfortable and thoughtfully done with everything you could need for overnight or a longer holiday. Lovely position, quiet and rural and good directions so easy to find…. Not a complaint at all but you may need to bend your knees to have a shower if you are tall as bathroom has a sloping roof.

Picturesque village, well used road runs through it due to its access with the river. This was a business trip for my husband, getting out of the village in the morning was very busy. The pub within walking distance, which we were intending to eat at, was closed on Mondays! This was unfortunate as I think it would have been perfect.
