    The lodge is immaculately presented, equipped with everything you need for a short break. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their property and this is reflected in the quality of the little extras they provide, hand lotion, luxury towels, coffee maker , candles etc. It's location is 2 minutes walk from the main reception which houses a fantastic indoor heated pool and a bar which has separate areas for family, Sky etc. It's a perfect place for a short stay. We had our 2 daughters with us (age 8 & 10) who asked when can we go back? We hadn't even left yet !!! All in all, its pretty hard to fault giving the accommodation's cleanliness and location

    It was a nice place to stay..plenty of walks around.

    It was a nice place to stay..plenty of walks around. Went to Beacon fell..lovely walk and wildlife. Visited Clitheroe town / castle. plenty of places we didnt get time to go to. Ate at Derby arms....too far to go else where..but we loved the food at the pub.

    Perfect location!

    Perfect location! Stunning gardens very peaceful and relaxing, excellent food, friendly staff, comfortable rooms . A lovely pub around the corner and a farm shop and garden centre . We will definitely be back .

    Ferrari? .

    Ferrari? . Grounds and most public spaces in hotel were nice (not Ladies toilets). Friendly staff. There are 2 supermarkets within a mile from the hotel. Our (Exececutive) room was not Ferrari status. Our room didn't have tea/coffee maker, as advertised. It had old-fashioned furniture covered with black tablecloths and a stool with peeling fabric on it. The jacuzzi bath only worked on one setting. The 'flat-screen TV' was as small as a laptop screen. A 30-piece brass band was practising in an events room below our room from 8-10pm on one night and 8-9pm on another night. We'd gone away for a peaceful getaway. We certainly didn't get that.

    We arrived late but the receoptioniost had telephoned to enquire if we were on our way and that our plans were unchanged. Friendly receptionist advice us of the room location - single flight of wide stairs, and offered a brief history of the house. Exceptionally spacious room (suite) with interesting, but slightly overpowering French furniture. Comfortable bed, lovely views from the bedroom. Good supply of hot water in the shower (source of soap in the shower would be an advantage as the self-service bottles are on the bathroom window sill. Unfortunately did not have enough time to sit or explore the lounge / bar area, not the gardens. Vegetarian breakfast option was welcome. All staff friendly.

    Beautiful surroundings, excellent food and friendly welcome. Would return and highly recommend. Brought our dog, walks straight from hotel and some within easy reach by car, we visited Beacon Fell, cafe for welcome lunch.

    The location was great for exploring central and coastal Lancashire. Longridge is a very nice town and the people v friendly. The accommodation was centrally located and the owners had very helpfully left a help manuel explaining how to work things and give pertinent information. Wecwere v impresed with the standard of the accommodation. It was beautifully decorated and provided everything you needed for our stay. We would have booked another night if we could have but someone else had booked the Friday night.

    The accommodation was perfect with everything we needed. Comfy beds and the decor was great with some lovely touches. Robert and Pippa were really warm, welcoming and super helpful. They go the extra mile with a welcome hamper, that after driving down from the Highlands, was indeed, very welcome. As was their very clear instructions on how to find the House of the Mouse. A great location too. Just a short walk from Longridge High Street, where you can find anything you need.

    Booked for work last minute. Hotel rooms are lovely and spacious. The bed was the comfortable bed iv ever slept on. Staff are incredibly friendly and will go above and beyond for you. Breakfast was awesome and was able to get it slightly earlier due to work commitments. Rooms thought-out were kept in great condition. Honestly one of the best hotels iv stayed in at UK. I can not fault them for anything I will certainly come back if I'm in the area again.

    They have only just started serving breakfast at a very reasonable price in the last two weeks and only on a Sunday which i am sure will increase as it becomes more popular.Bookings.com did not include this information at the time of booking.Plenty of parking space at the rear of the hotel.Great position at the top of the high street.They have live music on the last Saturday in the month which is very popular.
