I had a wonderful stay! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. My room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Not to mention the exceptional restaurant (listed in the Michelin Guide, which speaks for itself) and the beautiful Sunday roast I enjoyed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Derbyshire!

We stayed here for a family wedding. The room, the hotel facilities and the breakfast the following morning were excellent. We were able to check into our room early, which really helped.get ready for the wedding. The setting is beautiful, peaceful.and surrounded on every side by great views.

Had a 1 night stay in which we had an evening meal which was excellent in every way,the room was very clean and comfortable with no noise from the bar below,breakfast was excellent like the evening meal and the staff and new owners were first class in making us feel welcome and nothing was to much trouble to make our stay a memorable one.we would definitely stay again and wish the new owners all the best in their new venture👍🙂🙂lee and christine

    The property was right in the centre of where we wanted to...

    The property was right in the centre of where we wanted to be. We ate at some of the places recommended by the hosts and these were easy to get to either on foot or at the handy bus stop just outside the property. The property was quirky and the decoration was stunning. Loved the record player and records and all the games that were available. The roof top terrace was stunning and was used to the full. Perfect for a glass of wine at night. Very homely and comfortable we absolutely loved it and hope to return in the future.

    Very pretty town, very busy over the bank Holiday, parking became an issue because of this, especially around the heights if abraham. Plenty of small shops and cafes and lovely scenic surround to explore.
