This little cottage was the best stay we have had in the UK. It's location is perfect for us, close to family & a short drive to motorways. The cottage is cosy and has all you need. Claire & Cliff the hosts were great, very helpful and accommodating.

The room was very comfortable, food extremely good and value for money. All the staff where very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend The Hinds Head to anyone who needed somewhere with easy access to the countryside or motorway connections to travel further afield.

The staff were lovely and so was the food in the pub, but most of all, the rooms were recently renovated and really well designed. Was so much nicer than we had anticipated and such a lovely stay. Wifi was free!

    Mawdesley is a lovely quiet village.

    Mawdesley is a lovely quiet village. Has some great walks if you have a dog. Can't recommend the local pub (Red Lion) too highly. Very friendly with superb food & real ales. Easy access to Liverpool or Manchester as well.
