We felt that the pub was formulaic in its approach to food and service and lacking in the sort of atmosphere that we were looking for - the room which granted was standard was generous but the ventilation and light were very poor. I loved Mitchell it is very easy to get to off the A30.
I loved Mitchell it is very easy to get to off the A30. Our room 10 was a little dark as it was downstairs whereas my friend had room 11 which was fabulous. Very clean and large rooms and wonderful bathrooms. Just need better pillows :)Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom

This makes such a difference to a stay. We brought our dog and there’s no doubt he was also treated like a paying customer! Dog treats and unlimited attention went down very well with him. Breakfast was delicious and we chose to have dinner which was also fantastic. Location was perfect to explore both the North or South coast. Dinner was gorgeous. Breakfast amazing (please include the small cornish breakfast on your menu for paying guests, please! Its perfect for smaller appetites).
