The whole experience at Sawrey house was excellent. Our room was great. Clean and the decor was class throughout the hotel. Friendly staff nothing was to much trouble. The food was excellent. Perfect location to recharge and get away from the busy lives we all have. Peace and tranquillity, was simply amazing. Location is good for Western side of Lake District as it is...
Location is good for Western side of Lake District as it is on west side of Windermere - access to Hawkshead and Coniston is good and also Grasmere and westwards. I chose this location for access to Tarn Hows. Anyone wanting to visit Grizedale and Duddon Valley and Langdale will suit this location - Hardknott Pass and Wrynose Pass. For Windermere/Ambleside/Keswick and North Lakes, stay on the eastern side of Windermere where the road is also faster and stunning scenery to Keswick.Guest review byAmeetUnited Kingdom
