The Kennels is a very attractively decorated, cosy yet spacious apartment. Annabel has thought of everything that you might need including extra touches, such as a welcome cake and drink. Ample food is provided for a delicious breakfast. We appreciated the folder with information about how to use the appliances, as well as information about nearby walks and local attractions. It is the best place that we have stayed in during our two months of travelling.

An absolute gem of a place! The owners are wonderfully warm and welcoming, making you feel instantly at home. The food is simply delicious, and the whole place has such charm, character, and soul. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, with spotless, fresh-smelling bedding, lovely toiletries, and thoughtful touches like coffee, tea, and biscuits waiting for you. The pub has a fantastic, cosy atmosphere — it truly feels better than being at home. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Breakfast was generous. Almost too much for the average adult/ adolescent. A cheaper option would have been good. I paid 25 quid for 2 cups of coffee and a slice of toast. Not everyone wants a full English !!

We only stayed one night and accommodation met all our needs. Clean and comfortable, host was welcoming and helpful, the Larder has been beautifully converted. It was a pleasure to stay there and addition of breakfast provided was much appreciated.

Lovely cottage with everything you needed. In countryside location but close to amenities. We could even have gone to the polo match if we weren't going to a wedding. Ate at The Lion pub at a nearby village. Highly recommended.

Great location, lovely spacious area, fantastic comfy bed, nicely fitted out space, easy to find and parking accessed next to lidl entrance around corner. Easy key collect. Safe and quiet accommodation. If youre not cooking HUGE choice of eateries right on your doorstep, and opposite tesco superstore for handy supplies. Accommodation just needs a bit more care to make a great stay. Really has potential but needs a little extra care, some dusty services, no TV channels ,utensils and worktop grubby., no mattress protectors. Cigarette butt's on outside patio.. Host lovely and friendly, would stay again despite issues which can be resolved easily .

There was only one restaurant (Indian) within easy walking distance, plenty of take away and delivery establishment, There was one pub within the whole of the area and food was basic, burgers etc., There were nicer restaurants/pubs within driving distance. There was a large Tesco and Lidl within walking distance, very little else. Fortunately the accommodation was well equipped for self catering. Plenty of open space for walking.
