We had a tiny but cosy room, spotlessly clean. Drinks and food (both dinner and breakfast) were excellent. The location is excellent, right on the market square, and parking overnight on the street nearby was free.

We would give this place a 12 out of 10 if possible! Alison was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome, even giving us a ride to the starting point of our walk. The annexe itself is lovely with the most comfortable bed we've slept in for ages! There's a well-furnished kitchen, a beautiful garden and overall every detail has clearly been given attention. The perfect stay!

The property was absolutely superb. Very elegant, quality fittings and well furnished with beautiful linen and towels. I loved the location and how organised, beautiful and well kept the entire property was. I was extremely impressed. I want to return and try a different room. Just want to say congratulations it's a great place.

Welcome pack, lovely 😍 with quality food items, especially the Yorkshire Parkin 😋. Very nice back garden. Well equipped kitchen with lots of teatowels and washing up liquid, etc. Very useful utility room. Spacious rooms. Downstairs and upstairs bathroom with first-rate walk-in shower . Very clean property. Plenty of towels. Children's stairgate came in handy. Nice decor and extremely comfortable 👌.

    Great location the accommodation is a beautiful converted...

    Great location the accommodation is a beautiful converted barn, it was spotless. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine, it's totally private and you can just enjoy relaxing and getting to know their rescued hens and 2 friendly cats. We'd recommend bringing some food as there are no shops within walking distance but Helmsley is very close by and has a great selection of pubs and restaurants.

    It was surprisingly easy to find even though it was tucked...

    It was surprisingly easy to find even though it was tucked away in a very quiet location. The property is beautiful set on a private farm surrounded by acres of glorious countryside. Our host left us a very generous welcome pack full of local goodies (fresh farm eggs, homemade honey and bread) plus some treats from the famous Bettys of Harrogate, it was perfect. Its well situated to visit lots of lovely places including Hemsley - the nearest village which has lots of shops, cafes and pubs. It's about an hour away from the coast and right on the Yorkshire moors.
