The location is ideally situated for exploring both the centre of Newcastle and also the North Tyneside coastline. There are good public transport links in both directions, including to the Roman antiquity site and museum at Segedunum, near Wallsend. To be fair, we only used the location as a base to explore from, but I suspect, like many of Newcastle's suburban quarters, Old Walker is no doubt chock-full of local history.Guest review byALANUnited Kingdom - 8.0

All needed facilities were available; Kitchen was well equipped - kettle, microwave, big fridge, washing machine etc. The living room was nice with a big TV (65" I think), internet was fine, lighting was good; the home was generally clean and everything was functional.
