Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is a must- wear your swimwear if you fancy a dip- I will be going back to do that in future! Windemere was great despite the rain, plenty to do and enjoy. Local area of rolling fields is irresistible- take walking boots! Trungs Chinese takeaway in Bolton-Le-Sands was delicious and a quick outing to collect. Fantastic place to use as a base, quiet village but on main...
Fantastic place to use as a base, quiet village but on main route link to Morcombe, Windemere, lake district and Scotland. We visited loads of places of interest as well as our main focus, Cartmel races. Over Kellet also has a pub in walking distance with a friendly landlord who serves amazing food. Definitely recommend a stay in the village. Also a mile away from Capernwray Quarry dive site so perfect for scuba divers!Guest review byJaciUnited Kingdom
