Very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to help. Food was amazing and they catered for my gluten and dairy free needs. So loved the food that we had dinner and breakfast there. Handy to have off street parking and the beds were super comfortable including the sofa bed. Great pub atmosphere

We were visiting from Australia for a wake, and the staff at the Park Royal went above and beyond to support us during a difficult time. Every request was met with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. The room was large, comfortable, and spacious enough for visiting family to join us for tea and a catch-up, which made our stay even more meaningful. We’re truly grateful for the thoughtful service and would highly recommend the Park Royal.

    Pickmere is a beautiful building with great bedrooms, comfortable beds, clean and tidy. Very welcome hotel and its set-in great countryside. Love the area. Felicia gave a welcoming with all information I needed while in, very useful. I definitely recommend it.

    Stayed as it was close to the Harry Potter and Forbidden Forest Event. Satnav took us straight to the door, plenty of off road parking, booked a family room which was huge. Beds were comfortable and en-suite bathroom was spot on. The owners were lovely and I have to say we had the best English breakfast I think I’ve ever had (and I stay in a lot of hotels for work).Top quality ingredients and not a drop of grease on the plate. Wifi was good. Thank you for a great stay.

    Pickmere is a real gem! Stunning location with my bedroom overlooking open fields. My family were staying in the attached accessible annex which is perfect for those with disabilities. Cooked breakfast was great they said, for me it was no problem for a gluten/ dairy/ carb free breakfast to be prepared! Pickmere lake a short walk away is delightful for some exercise and to wind down. Many thanks. We will certainly return when in the area 😊

    This is amazing place! I discover England exactly like in my dreams! And even more! Felicia are kind and careful to guests, more she is spectacular cooker. You will find this hotel clean, peaceful, incredible beautiful, cozy and classical)) And if you want, nearby always can find something to discover.
