Portrush has really improved since the Open.
Portrush has really improved since the Open. More bars, cafes and restaurants to choose from. My daughter and her friend really enjoyed staying here which was a bonus as they are hard to please these days. Non Golfers but a very pleasant visit as seafront is spectacular. Portrush itself could do with a few more culinary experiences. Portrush is a typical old fashioned seaside resort but with the addition of now some more upmarket restaurants and more high end accommodation, but at least the old amusement fare is still there on the beach which I remember from my childhood pure nostalgia. Got what we are used to and want from Portrush, always love a break up here. I know there is a few new luxury hotels which are great but don't miss out on the good old bars and hotels like the harbour bar, quays, station bar, kiwi bar n restaurant and the port hotel - it's a great atmosphere the staff are great and the food and sport is great as well.Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom

This was the perfect location and place to stay. The apartment was well stocked and felt like home. It was nice to sit in and cook and feel at home. We were welcomed with a hand written card and messaged by the owner who was checking in to make sure everything was ok. Beautiful area with lots to do and beautiful scenery.
