It was fantastic. The hotel, the staff, the food. Everyone was cheerful and helpful and they couldn’t do enough for us. Even put a birthday card out on our table for our family breakfast to celebrate my husbands 60th. Will recommend going to The Beach to all our friends and we will book again.

Great location, not far from the town center. The facilities were excellent, the owner thought about everything you need as a guest. We also got home made biscuits, tea and milk as a welcome, which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was 10/10, tasty and freshly cooked. The room was spacious, clean and cozy. The farm itself was very nice and the area was well maintained. It is easy to see that the owners really take care of the guest house to make us, guests, feel welcome 😀. I will happily come back in my next visit to Cornwall and would recommend it to my friends 👍.

Pretty much everything. Warm welcome. Super clean room. Crisp, clean linen and fluffy, supersized towels. Very comfortable bed and excellent shower. The breakfast was the best we’d had on this trip

From the moment we arrived Nicki the landlady was charming and attentive ,showed us to our room that far exceeded our expectations ,this is a hidden jewel and we will definitely return ,we have already recommended it to 2 friends and will continue to spread the good word . Thank you for the amazing stay. The room was spacious and clean. Surrounding gardens are well kept and so relaxing. There are nice walks near the house . Breakfast was very generous and kept us full for most of the day :)

    We used Poundstock as a base, while visiting the North Coast...

    We used Poundstock as a base, while visiting the North Coast of Cornwall, it was the ideal location, just minutes away from Bude. This is a fantastic resort town, full of little shops, cafes and restaurants. The town caters for young and old, with activities for all ages, from the surfing fraternity too high tea for us spectators. A beautiful part of the country, and we will definitely be visiting again.
