Conveniently located hotel, close to the shopping / restaurant area, the train and bus stations and a convenient multi-storey car park (essential since we arrived by car). The historic center is only a few minutes away on foot. We appreciated the cleanliness, the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff, the very comfortable beds and the room facilities. Rich and very good breakfast, only the coffee could be better (for an Italian).

Personal were very helpful in accomodating the special needs of one of our party and changed a room to aid access to room. Very flexible staff!!! Rooms had great beds, the best we have encountered on our travels! Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly and courteous. A nice accent to a grand old hotel!

    Stayed on a farm up high for 3 nights, overlooking Priston, which is a small, quiet village nestled in a valley and accessed by narrow lanes. Mostly made up of lovely houses with just one pub, The Ring O'Bells,, (which we did not go in as it was closed due to COVID) a village hall, church & old mill (again did not visit), it is nice to drive through, but nothing much to see as mainly residential with no shops. It is, however, surrounded by beautiful scenery with rolling hills & valleys, which makes it a very pretty area. Just a tip though, always got lost when coming back from days out, as they are narrow lanes with little signage or names.
