Just what we hoped for but so difficult to find nowadays. Friendly and helpful staff front of house,well appointed premises and really good food..price of food,room and drink were good,I felt I had got value for my money.

Nice little room, lovely clean bathroom, enough towels to use even though we had to bring it to Nick's attention that house keeping didn't change the towels they just hung the dirty and wet towels back up. We had enough tea and coffee making facilities, we had a fan in the bedroom but felt that 2 might of been better, the hotel doesn't serve food but we knew that before booking but there's loads of cafes and pubs very local. All in all a very nice hotel and we would stop again.

Everything. The food was delicious, at both dinner and breakfast. The room was large, the bed was very comfortable, there were nice shampoos and body washes. The towels were huge and luxurious. But the best thing was the lovely staff. The young lad at check in, dinner (and again at breakfast) was wonderful. Efficient and delightful.
