The staff!!!!!!! They are beyond lovely, we celebrated our son’s 11th birthday there at a moments notice. In 24hrs they pulled all stops to make sure he had a beautiful birthday cake freshly baked onsite, if that isn’t going above and beyond then I don’t know what is. Not sure where the 5.9 rating is coming from – I honestly can’t agree with it. The staff were absolutely lovely and super helpful. Great, quiet location with a nice pub and kitchen, plus a playground right next to the property. Dog friendly too! Rooms were clean and spacious, and it’s all very budget-friendly. Maybe it’s under new management, don’t know. Either way, the place is brilliant now.
