We all had the "Full English" breakfast next morning: meal great although bacon a bit rubbery and salty. We ate the lot however and it set us up for the day for our onward journey to Canterbury. The staff all work hard and are very pleasant. Great place to stay.

The caravan was absolutely perfect for our family and felt like a real home away from home. Everything was in excellent condition, just as advertised, and spotlessly clean. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I visited Queenborough to see friends.

I visited Queenborough to see friends. We visited the Queenborough museum and it was fantastic. The guide showed us round and was very informative. This visit has resulted in more family research concerning Naval and Merchant seamen who were in the family tree who may have visited Queenborough and Sheerness. We visited the local library which was lovely and purchased some used travel books to be used on our future travels. We also traveled on the train which was easy and efficient to visit Wetherspoons for a cheap good evening meal. We also ate at the pub opposite the Neat shopping centre which was excellent at lunchtime and in the evening. Nothing to avoid just problems which could not be avoided with the collapse of one of the main roads hence our using the train.

We were on Sheppey for a wedding so had a good look around the island, Queenborough has gorgeous views of the estuary and lovely to sit by with a drink or two! It seemed lovely residential area & the people were friendly as were the seagulls who used us for target practice 😂

I booked this hotel because it had a quad room for my daughter and her children, it was perfect the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great again the staff looked after all of our needs including cleaning up after our messy twin girls toddlers. The food was perfect something for all our fussy fads. Rooms were beautiful, clean and very comfortable. I would have liked to sit out in the garden looking out over the river but I ran out of time. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel very welcome.

We were visiting family and know the local area well but anyone that is going to stay for short break away, I would recommend going in warmer weather so you are able to sit outside and enjoy the lovey garden and the beaches on the island. The train station is a short walk from the b&b, so you can venture further. The local fish and chip shop in Queenborough just along from the b&b is very good too.

Used Queenborough as a base to travel around the Isle of Sheppy. In the evenings we visited local hostelries. There was a a nice Micro pub with a good selection of beers and nice food called The Admirals Arm, we would recommend paying it a visit. It had a nice atmosphere. We also ate at The Flying Dutchman, which claimed to cook the local catch. I ordered a Whole Dover sole (£20) also not sure that it was fresh, when it came it was a very small fish and boiled potatoes which were hard, a most disappointing meal my wife had a veggy option which was also poor Expensive and wouldn't recommend.

Amazing friendly staff, beautiful hotel with excellent facilities. We booked the hotel last minute after travelling from Manchester to buy a car and feel we made the best choice. Evening meal was fantastic and real value for money and the breakfast was amazing. Beautiful location with some lovely walks and friendly pubs. We can't recommend Queen Philippa's enough.
